An abundance of activities are offered. Guest speakers and artists join the ship, introducing passengers to the local culture, music, history and traditions. Guests have the opportunity to explore picturesque coastlines using our on board bikes, kayaks and zodiacs.

Entertainment

To entertain you at certain ports, we bring local performers on board giving passengers an authentic experience with local music and arts. When in the Caribbean its Shak Shak bands, Steel Pan, Calypso, Reggae, Soco and "jump-ups.” In Atlantic Canada, its Celtic Jigs, Step Dance, Fiddles, Bagpipes, and Maritime “Kitchen Parties”. There’s game night, hula hoop contests, poker tournaments and much much more available for your entertainment.

Cuisine

Even mealtimes are a chance to discover - Atlantic Canada's rich cuisine is truly unique & flavourful from mouth-watering ocean bounty such as Cape Breton's snow crab to Newfoundland's caribou and indigenous berries. In the Caribbean, discover how to crack open conch or mix a rum-soaked mojito. Native exotic fruits and vegetables such as mangos, papayas and plantains find their way into salsa, salads, chutneys, desserts and frozen drinks.

Arts and Crafts

Arts and crafts often mirror the heritage, lifestyle and geography of the region where the artists live and work. Spectacular landscapes, rich history and traditions have fostered a dynamic creativity among the craftspeople. Visitors can enjoy a learning experience as well as acquire a unique treasure on your voyage. Use our on board sketch pads to create your own charcoal drawings or discover the artist in you and paint your own water colour or acrylic souvenirs.
